Turtle Island Preserve is the "Brain Child" of Eustace Conway. He inherited the vision of earth stewardship and betterment of man from his maternal grandfathers' legacy of Camp Sequoyah, founded in 1924. Turtle Island today, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit education center, a continuation of this rich educational family heritage. More

Turtle Island Preserve hosts a variety of camps, workshops, programs, and special events. Private events are available upon request. Volunteer Opportunities exist year-round. Our unique camps offer natural living experiences and exceptional outdoor education. We believe learning should be fun. Turtle Island camp activities promote positive growth through fun and exciting learning opportunities.
We offer summer camps for boys and girls as well as a Father - Son camp and Family Camp opportunities. There are educational camps, camps for schools, universities, and colleges. We also have day trip opportunities.
