Volunteer Days

March 14-15 & April 11-12

We depend on our wonderful volunteers...simply can't make it without you.  These weekends will be focused mainly on opening basecamp for the 2026 season. We always have wood to prepare… splitting and stacking, and organizing our woodshed. If you have a chainsaw, that would be helpful. We will also be doing minor repairs to our cabins and grounds, preparing and planting our kitchen garden and of course, we will need help in the kitchen preparing the meals...our volunteers come in all shapes and sizes and from all walks of life. We invite you to come join us and help us continue with our mission…enriching lives!

If this interests you and you have been looking for a chance to become involved at Turtle Island, this is your opportunity.
