This class prepares you to effectively use plant medicines at home. Learn to identify, extract and use historic medicines of the southern Appalachian region. This class simplifies extractions methods so anyone can understand. We will speak upon herbal actions and basic phytochemistry found in plants. After this workshop you will be able to identify plants in your own yard and know effective ways to utilize them for various ailments. Part of the class is spent identifying plants and part is spent with discussion/ making an extract (salve/tincture/tea/etc).

Date/Time: Please arrive at 9:30 am on Sunday the 20th. Departure is - 4:30 pm
Cost: $140 includes a delicious, nutritious lunch in our outdoor kitchen
Cancellations: non-refundable deposit (1/2 of total) is retained for all cancellations
