Harvest Gala

decorative table settingWe hoped to have brought many more visitors into the fresh air and sunshine of Turtle Island Preserve in 2020, so this special occasion is our alternative to the many planned events that were cancelled this year.  As the cold winds of autumn return to these hollows, we have created one more magical event for a small group of supporters. In an effort to generate much-needed funding, this gala event is geared toward people and organizations who are in a position to generously support our nonprofit outdoor education center and camp scholarship programs.

Guests will be delighted to visit Turtle Island Preserve in all our splendid glory of fall colors. Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be available in our outdoor kitchen and dining area, live mountain music, activities, demonstrations, a behind the scenes tour, and a silent auction will also take place before a wood-fired, candle-lit supper is served. A fireside talk with Mountain Man Eustace Conway will wrap up the experience. While Eustace no longer typically hosts visitors himself, this one night a small group of interested adults will be his personal guest for a memorable, authentic Turtle Island mountain outdoor experience.
