Summer is making its closing statements and a light north wind is whispering cool notions these days around Turtle Island. With recent rains, we've had plenty of time to reflect on our bountiful summer with many helping hands to lighten the load. There were countless souls who happened by this summer, some for a day, others for a week or more, but each of them made our days brighter. The abundant sharing and giving really helped us achieve a great amount of productivity both with the camps and the day-to-day farm life.
Recently a dear friend and supporter has passed on to the happy hunting grounds. Gerald Buchanan, or POP - as we lovingly referred to him - was a treasured ol' rascal and true Turtle Island supporter - even making a 2 hour trip up to our protest back in 2012! Pop leaves behind Eustace's childhood friend Darren and his wife Carol Smith.
Throughout the year Eustace does speaking engagements at Colleges, Universties and Conservation and Envorinmental Summits. You DON'T want to miss the chance to join us for THIS free event. Its for a great cause, and what fun will it be to join Eustace over a glass of wine among some beautiful art, featuring Turtle Island!
